L’Oréal has sought a partner to provide a complete merchandising service in both FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) and fashion retail. The need for someone who had the capabilities to handle both the installation of direct marketing sales promotion displays on a specific date, and carry out larger planogram revisions, and revisions of make-up display fittings in up to 1 000 stores, on a recurring basis during the year, required a supplier with a well-defined organisation and innovative drive.
Assignment and solution
For the past several years SRB has carried out planogram revisions for whole supermarket chains, providing L’Oréal with a quick implementation window and the ability to keep their sales force focused on sales. The collaboration has further evolved to include the installation of sales promotion displays and, since 2015, make-up planogram revisions in both FMCG and fashion retail, where our infrastructure and digitisation capabilities play a key part in the assignment.
